Teen Dating Violence Awareness: Because love shouldn’t hurt

On Monday, February 11, there will be a tweetchat hosted by my colleagues at Fem2.0 as well as Spark Summit, and the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The chat (10 am PT or 1 pm ET), will focus on teen dating violence, as February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness month. As many as 33 percent of teens in abusive relationships don’t report it or talk about it with anyone and dating violence effects approximately 1.5 million high school students (that’s the size of the entire Las Vegas Metro area!). So, please join me and others as we talk about this issue and look for ways to answer the problem. Use the hashtag #HealthyLove.
