World AIDS Day: UNLV and SURJ event Thursday

This looks to be a quite powerful event:

World AIDS Day at UNLV

Join UNLV’s Students United for Reproductive Justice in commemorating World AIDS Day on Thursday, November 29th.  This powerful event will include several speakers from the Las Vegas community discussing various aspects of HIV/AIDS.  Local artists have donated pieces to the event which will be displayed. SURJ will also be displaying their commemorative World AIDS Day quilt with contributions from students and other community members. This event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

Date: Thursday, November 29th

Time: 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Location: Center for Social Justice at UNLV (Houssels House). Please see map for location.
