Transgender Day of Remembrance: Vigil Friday

Passing this along from some friends in the LGBTQ community:

This is an annual event to help bring about Awareness, Education, and Support to the Transgender Community. It is an event which we recognize the lives of those who were slain in hate crimes because of who they were.
Everyone is invited to attend even our supportive allies, whom we appreciate.
Thursday, November 15th, 2012: Transgender Day of Remembrance Awareness Day:
Come join us on the campus of UNLV to bring about awareness about the Transgender Day of Remembrance as we display the wall honoring those slain in hate crimes.
Then on Friday evening at 7pm we will have the actual vigil inside the UNLV Student Union Theatre beginning at 7pm.
